When a key client launched their high-volume Series freezer drawer—a critical component for a popular refrigerator model—they encountered a quality issue: corner damage during internal handling and transit.

Strategic Reinforcement: The wall thickness surrounding the drawer perimeter was increased to provide additional structural support without affecting the component's dimensional specifications or assembly fit.

These modifications were carefully calibrated to ensure seamless integration with the client's existing assembly line and end-product design.

Following the implementation of the design changes and subsequent tooling modifications, the results were immediate and conclusive:
