Ocean Century Management Reading Program Q3 2025

Sept 2025 – Ocean Century, a specialist in injection molding and sheet metal processing, announced the official launch of its third-quarter management reading program for 2025. Following the success of the Q1 focus on ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and the Q2 study of The Effective Executive, our management team has gathered once again to delve into the management classic, The Practice of Management, by Peter Drucker.

The first phase of this learning plan, running from August 18th to September 19th, is structured around two key activities:
  • Daily Chapter Recitation on the LizhiFM platform.
  • Completion of Reading Notes, answering thought-provoking questions tailored to our company's actual operations.
During the study of Chapter 5, What is a Business?, learners were challenged to ponder critical questions:
  • What is our company's business?
  • Where is our market?
  • What innovations are needed and should be pursued?

As management leaders, each participant provided answers from their unique perspective. As the program progresses, the team is engaging in deep dives into core themes such as "the role of management," "the purpose and function of an enterprise," and "business positioning and innovation." Daily learning achievements are promptly shared within the group, creating a positive environment of mutual encouragement and knowledge exchange.

Now over twenty days into the program, the learning plan is advancing smoothly and systematically. We eagerly anticipate continued vibrant discussions and the practical wisdom, all ultimately feeding back into and enhancing our daily work.
