Q:What is the difference between OEM and ODM services?
A: ODM (Original Design Manufacturer): We have our own design capabilities and can conduct product design and research and development according to customer needs. We may also have our own brand, allowing us to provide more customized product solutions.
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer): We produce products according to the design drawings and specifications provided by the customer, without participating in product design and research and development. Typically, the customer's brand is labeled on the products.
Q: What is the MOQ for batch orders?
A: The MOQ varies based on factors such as product type, production process, and mold costs. For simpler products, the MOQ may be as low as 500, while products involving complex designs or special materials may have a higher MOQ. Generally, we consider both cost and production efficiency to determine the specific quantity. We recommend you communicate directly with us, and we will provide a suitable solution based on your needs.
Q: How do we handle design intellectual property issues?
A: If the design is provided by the customer, the customer must ensure the legality of the design and grant us the right to use it for production. At the same time, we will maintain strict confidentiality and will not use it for other projects.
For products we design independently, we will first apply for intellectual property protection, such as patents or copyrights. When collaborating with customers, we clarify the ownership and usage scope of intellectual property and safeguard both parties' rights through contractual terms.
